Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. As Artistic director of SSC She was also the composer/music supervisor for the company as well as a tutor of the text. Though generally leading from within the actors' ensemble, during her final year, she started her journey as a director (and lighting designer) with the SSC's King Lear.
